Cinco de Pinot Pack
$565.00
Often mistakenly thought of as Mexico’s Independence Day, Cinco de Mayo actually celebrates the unlikely and decisive victory of the outmanned Mexican Army over the French Army at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
(I tried to tell my parents that my French History major would come in handy some day.)
To celebrate this historic day, I’ve released cinco wines from the Clarice Library and combined them in a Cinco de Pinot Special – with a very special addition as well!
This five-bottle pack includes one bottle of Clarice from each vintage that has thus far been bottled. Five wines, each with remarkable press (see below), having been kept in temperature controlled storage since bottling.
But much like the Battle of Puebla – the small becomes mighty – because I’ve thrown in a sixth bottle and no additional charge.
That’s right.
As you may remember, in 2020, I was unable to make any 2020 Clarice Pinot Noirs due to smoke. So, for one vintage only, I produced ENOW – a Grenache and Mourvedre blend from Paso Robles. This one-time Clarice stand-in was also highly praised by the media and sold for $75 at the time. As part of this pack, it is added into the mix pn the house.
The package includes one bottle each of:
2017 Clarice Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir
2018 Clarice Rosella’s Vineyard Pinot Noir
2019 Clarice Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
2021 Clarice Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
2022 Clarice Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
2020 ENOW Paso Robles Grenache/Mourvedre Blend
