Our 2026 Clarice Members’ Trip will take us to one of the most extraordinary—and soulful—wine regions on earth: Priorat, Spain. We’d love for you to join us.

Each year, we host a Clarice Members’ Trip – going overseas every other year. We’ve developed a devoted group of followers who come along with us, but each year there are new Members that join as well. This coming year our travels will take us to Priorat.

There’s a saying in Northeastern Spain:

“If you are from Catalonia, you will get bread from the stones. But if you are in Priorat, you will get wine.”

Once one of the wine world’s best-kept secrets, Priorat has, over the past 25 years, earned a place among the great regions of the world. Its powerful yet graceful reds—crafted primarily from Garnacha (Grenache) and Cariñena (Carignane)—have evolved from bold and brooding to hauntingly beautiful. The whites, led by Garnacha Blanca, are now some of Spain’s most exciting wines.

At the heart of it all lies the Llicorella soil—layers of fractured slate that force vines to dig deep through cracks to find moisture. These vines, and the wines they yield, are full of tension, minerality, and spirit.
We’ll explore them all, together.

✈️ The Journey

Getting to Priorat takes some effort—and that’s part of the adventure.
We’ll begin with one night in Barcelona, staying at the Renaissance Hotel, just 1.6 km from Gaudí’s famed Sagrada Familia. You can explore on your own or join an optional Clarice group dinner (additional cost). If you’d like to get in a few days early, let us know and we can put you in touch with the hotel.

From there, we’ll travel south to Falset, the heart of Priorat, where we’ll spend five nights immersed in the region.

🍇 The Experience

  • 4 full days of winery visits and tastings (3 wineries per day—bring stamina). We are still working on the list of wineries, but we promise special things. We have a group leader who specializes in the area and will lead us on our adventure.
  • 4 group dinners, each highlighting local Catalonian cuisine and wine pairings
  • Daily lunches included—often among the trip’s most memorable moments
  • One free evening to explore Falset or relax at your leisure

On Friday morning, our bus will return us to Barcelona, where you can continue your travels—or fly home with unforgettable memories.

Trip Dates: Saturday, May 23 – Friday, May 29, 2026 (flight arrangements are on your own)
Cost: $7,000 per couple (inquire for single pricing)
Deposit: $3,500 due January 1, 2026
Final Payment: $3,500 due March 15, 2026
Cancellation Policy: Full refund if canceled by February 1, 2026
